    About

Founded as McGee Airways in 1932, Alaska Airlines is based in Seattle, Washington. It is the seventh largest US air carrier, serving more than 100 destinations in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and four Hawaiian Islands. Headquartered in SeaTac, Washington, its main hub is at the Seattle–Tacoma International Airport.

A major carrier, Alaska Airlines along with its sister concern Horizon Air is closely integrated into Alaska's operations. These airlines share several routes. It doesn’t have code share agreement with any major airline, but it does have agreements with some members of Oneworld and SkyTeam such as British Airways, American Airlines, Air France, Korean Air etc.

Classified as a major carrier, Alaska Airlines is the seventh largest US passenger air carrier. Its main hub is located at the Seattle–Tacoma International Airport while its three other hubs are at Portland International Airport, Los Angeles International Airport and Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport. It is the biggest passenger flight operator between Alaska and the contiguous United States. However most of its revenue is generated from routes outside the state.

With a network that spans across 92 cities in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, Alaska Airlines has code share agreements with some of the members of Oneworld and SkyTeam. While the airline kept on expanding its routes and services it happened to cease operations in a couple of places, which include Long Beach, Redmond, Toronto, Khabarovsk, Magadan, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Vladivostok, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Miami, Boise etc.
